Sweet 16
Caught Voyage de la Vie with my amazing secondary school besties - Jenn, Olivia and Sophia. Followed by dinner with the fam, Olivia and Soph at Marche. Had the best birthday celebration ever and I cannot ask for a even better one. I love you guys so much, thank you for being a part of my life.
Thank you so much to those who wished me well. You guys are equally amazing and you may not be mentioned right here right now on this post, but you are forever in my heart.
I love you guys so much that I don't bear to see us graduate because I fear losing contact. x

This is GESS Camp Day 3, 11th March 2011, which I personally thought was the best day out of the 3-day long camp ever. We spent the entire day at East Coast Park, from building sandcastles (camp activity), picking up rubbish (CIP), lazing on breakwaters, getting half buried, throwing sandballs and everything else - all worth the sun burn. The rest of the photos are up on facebook!
Bloody hell, (after browsing through all the camp pictures) I really do love my class to death. There is not a single soul I'd like to replace in my class. <3

The Deathly Hallows
Today, I caught Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (Part 1) with Sophia and my brother. It was so damn awesome, and thank god it didn't cut off at a really at-the-edge-of-your-seat scene, or I would've totally gone all obsessive and like, "Ugh dammit I really NEED TO WATCH PART 2 PRONTO,"
Tomorrow, I'll be having another chemistry test on redox which means that...I gotta study/ burn the midnight oil tonight, such bummer. I mean, give us a break, the holiday isn't named so to call us back for tests and classes. But on the bright side, I wouldn't waste yet another day at home watching tv programs, surfing the net and sleeping.

Gokul Vegetarian Restaurant
Lunch date at a vegetarian restaurant with Mdm Sarifah and my fellow pure geographers today. The place served awesome food which totally had my entire mindset of vegetarians changed and refreshed - no more dull salads or whatsoever... I wouldn't mind being a vegetarian if food like such in the restaurant was available daily.

I've left my soul behind
Yesterday, I was out and about with Jenn. We had lunch at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, and they have the most awesome baked rice ever...so cheesy, so yummy. Headed down to town afterwards to roam around abit plus some window shopping/ shopping. Ended the evening with tea and caramel frap then off to a Halloween dinner gathering with my family and friends with delicious food served - baked pasta (baked again haha) and some finger foods.

Experience
Did a bioinformatics workshop in school today for the entire day which was so bloody boring. Some of us were fortunate to be let off the hook at the last period to head down to Singapore Poly to attend the Global Citizen Challenge 2010 which we didn't win at all. That was okay because we didn't actually register to win the challenge, but instead, have fun and soak up the experience and atmosphere. It turned out amazing in the end although the boring start. We had so much fun! :)

It's Thursday Thursday

Ate at Sakae Sushi with Jenn, Sher, Ser Jay and Hetao today. Had fun popping the japanese green beans, 'crying' after eating huge amounts of wasabi and experimenting with a mixture of wasabi and ice cream, which actually turned out to be really good. Man, we're geniuses.

We'll watch the world from above

Today,
1. It slipped off my mind that my birthday is just tomorrow
2. I was embarrassed in front of the band - they laughed when Caryn shouted real loudly,"Happy Birthday Carissa"
3. I got a surprise from Olivia and all with a cake and had to hold it and eat it while walking to the bus stop because I refused to from the start
4. I was 'serenaded' by the entire choir
5. I got early birthday presents
Aww it makes me feel all gittery inside to I know I have friends who are there for me all this while. Will post more of my heartfelt thank yous tomorrow, as soon as I find the time to. xx
