I've left my soul behind

Yesterday, I was out and about with Jenn. We had lunch at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, and they have the most awesome baked rice ever...so cheesy, so yummy. Headed down to town afterwards to roam around abit plus some window shopping/ shopping. Ended the evening with tea and caramel frap then off to a Halloween dinner gathering with my family and friends with delicious food served - baked pasta (baked again haha) and some finger foods.

Global Citizen Challenge 2010

Experience

Did a bioinformatics workshop in school today for the entire day which was so bloody boring. Some of us were fortunate to be let off the hook at the last period to head down to Singapore Poly to attend the Global Citizen Challenge 2010 which we didn't win at all. That was okay because we didn't actually register to win the challenge, but instead, have fun and soak up the experience and atmosphere. It turned out amazing in the end although the boring start. We had so much fun! :)

It's funny how life works

Promotional meeting tomorrow = no school lessons, but there's gonna be choir practice to prep for the upcoming concert. As much as I'm afraid of the class posting and all, I know that nothing can be done - except to keep my fingers crossed I'll still see my lovely friends and stay in 4F.

Have been watching/ catching up on Gossip Girl online. It's good, but I hate waiting to get over the long and super laggy US commercial breaks. Right now I'm so tired that I think I might just head to sleep before 9. School's been quite a bitch lately, just some people...not worth mentioning, ugh - sucks to be me.

How things go

Family stuff, school stuff, friends stuff, exam stuff - all cramming into my pea brain and trying to take their spot, ugh how I hate it so bad.

Today was fun, hanging around daiso, departmental stores and just having fun taking pix and all...and it's back to reality with school tomorrow. The past few days was a good break from all the studying - see you guys tomorrow. xx

Back

The final term exam is finally over. Back with a bang, but feeling as drained as ever. Staying up till morning for the past week wasn't a good idea, but so long it benefited and that I don't drop any subjects...all is worth it. Celebrated the last day by watching The Other Guys with my favourite classmates hahaha. Gotta start planning what to do for the next four days of 'holiday' - don't wanna die of the post-exam boredom. Now I can 1. bake, 2. hang out, 3. throw my books to the side, 4. party and 5. go crazzzzyyy ;)

Catch me offguard

Today, was the rise of the killer papers - chemistry and geography. Both subjects threw me off my feet, with geography leaving my hand aching and my thumb throbbing. I think I could swear we were all writing profusely and non-stop throughout the entire 2 hours. Conlusion: both papers were so demoralizing. On the bright side...I'm a half-free bird after tomorrow's biology paper! ;)

Yesterday night I was watching 10 Things I Hate About You (which is pretty good I must say) instead of studying..so today I tried to organize my time by studying geography, chemistry and math, but apparently it did not work out the way I'd planned.

I gave up on geog after going through rivers and coasts. I gave up on chem because chem and I had no chemistry. Well, I didn't actually give up.. I'm just taking a break (due to the information overload) before I dive back into the pile of books that are waiting to devour me. Probably will never ever surface ever again.. till the thursday (aaah I can't wait). Oh god, I've still got like 4 topics of geog (excluding sub-chapters), 1000000 chapters of chem and bio to go. This is harder than I thought.

PS I don't know why but I can't seem to eat anything without spice, seriously. It's like I'd rather die off without food than not have spicy food at each meal. Pretty bizzare too that I'm craving for it every day.
