There's a million words but it's never enough

Today is the Eve of a new year. Tomorrow? A brand new year. A brand new start. A brand new set of worries, mistakes and regrets.

I can't believe that another year is over. It felt like yesterday when I stepped into 2010, starting my secondary 3 life. GESS Carnival, Japan Trip...all that birthday cake smashing.

To be honest, I don't want 2011 to come. I'm afraid to lose everybody, because right now I know for sure that two of my best friends are heading overseas to pursue their studies after O level.

Its just that.. I'm afraid what the future might bring. What if people I'm close too now aren't going to be as close to me in the future? What if I never keep in contact with anyone ever again after secondary school? (I suck so bad in keeping in contact with people).

Plus what or who will I grow up to be? What course/ career would I pursue in the end? Who will I meet?  Will my dreams/ goals take flight and soar, or will they crash and burn? Will I have a stable life, or will I have to work forever to pay debts/ rents? Will I ever meet that special someone?

I wish I had answers. I wish someone would come from the future and perhaps at least assure me a stable life and that I'll be able to keep my circle of friends. But right now, all I can do is fear and keep my mind from exploding with so much questions I have in store for the future!

To welcome the new year, I will be partying at this new year party I'll be attending with my family. On a side note, I wish you all a very Happy New Year.

Too much

I've been thinking A LOT lately...about my studies, friends and the future. More to come on New Year Eve/ the new year (in 4 days!)..I'll probably be blabbering about my fears and all that shit. So if you're interested, watch this space :-)

PS I've also been listening to Example A LOT . God dammit he's sooooooo good! A legend, I'd say. Plus he's English /wink wink/ rofl

Sticks and stones may break my bones

I'm experiencing a really bad gastric pain as I'm typing this, so forgive me if I start slurring like this: yhagifdiudajhdahhahahahaaaoucchhhhh.

I woke up at 11am today, feeling as helluva tired as ever, but just in time for brunch and some lazing around before I headed for choir practice. After that was dinner > home, which as I was walking across the road with Sophia, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder which scared the bejeezus out of me because I thought I had either 1. dropped something or 2. did something illgeal unknowingly...but no I didn't and I thought it was a random dude but it turned out to be someone I know :)

Anyway there's gonna be practice tomorrow too, which after that is our choir BBQzzzzz. So exciting!

I want out

I feel kinda sick of everything.

I want something new. I want adventure. I want the thrill. I want to forget about my worries and leave it all behind. I want to get out.

I'll be what you don't want me to be

The last two weeks of December is looking packed for me. I've got a movie going on tomorrow, a birthday to attend to on Wednesday, another movie on Thursday, Christmas party on Friday, baby birthday bash on Sunday, choir practice on the last week and a New Year party on New Year's eve.

Dammit, what I really need is more time/a longer break period to compete my school work!

A girl can dream

Christmas is only a week away (6 days for me as I usually get presents on the eve due to a traditional annual party we always have). Christmas isn't exactly all about presents..more of commemorating birth of Jesus, but it has revolutionized to gatherings and present giving. Also, who doesn't like to receive presents? So here goes my annual wishlist..and since there's 12 days of christmas (according to the song and wikipedia), I shall list 12 items (reasonable items place first) a girl can dream, can't she?

Facehunter @ A Curious Teepee

In conjunction of A Curious Teepee's soft launch, the Facehunter  popped by Singapore for one day only for a book signing and Q&A. Yes.. I met Mr Facehunter, Yvan Rodic himself (it's like a once in a lifetime chance that I couldn't miss for the world) and god, he was bloody tall, truly charming and simply amazing. Plus he dresses so quirkyly cute that it's impossible to dislike..and did I mention that I nearly had to breathe into a paper bag due to my excitement and anxiety? It's was so surreal that I wanted to cry happy, excited (like how girls go gaga over bieber) tears.

Today is definitely one of the best days of my entire life. Period. <3

A hint of uncertainty

Today was Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale with Jenn, Caryn, Zeyang and Hetao. Tomorrow? I think I definitely have some plans up my sleeve...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it can be carried out :)
