Oh beep exams. I think I'm just getting myself a F9 for chinese. Dnt was pretty cool (=AWESOME SHIT) today. My fear of taking the acrylic outta the oven is gone (except when the oven is frickking hot and the acrylic starts bubbling)! I absolutely love bending it to the shape I want, but it's piping hot. Two gloves on each hand doesn't work, been there done that.

Oh, and that I 'out-smarted' mr prem somehow.. a sign that I'll pass my examinations? Hopefully.

I do admit I'm a perfectionist. I edit my blog till everything (word, grammar, even spaces in between, etc) are up to my satisfaction. I refresh my blog ten thousand times (joking) to check if everything is in perfect order. I have to be satisfied with my handwriting and spacing on a piece of paper too, or I'll crush it before throwing it away, and then start anew. I think I take up nearly a quarter of my life trying to be perfect, but the end is that, nobody is, and never will be. That's what makes us human - our flaws.

It is the most eagerly anticipated designer collaboration of the season - but it almost did not make it to Singapore.

The Christoper Kane for Topshop capsule collection, which has fashion fans around the world in a frenzy, was initially not slated to come here, but with the timely opening of Topshop's flagship store at Ion Orchard, Wing Tai Retail, which distributes the high-street label here, managed to convince the London headquarters to include the little red dot in the Kane mania, a spokesman for the brand said. At least half of the 39-piece collection by the 26-year-old Scottish designer is likely to reach Singapore.

Expect to see body-conscious pieces in fine, black gauze and evening dresses and camisoles embellished with oversized jewels. In a cheeky reference to the distinctive gorilla image that featured in his fall/winter 2008 collection, an alligator image is emblazoned on a jersey dress, T-shirt and bag in the Topshop collection, which will be available at Topshop Ion Orchard from October 1, with prices ranging from $99 to $399.

Everything's not gonna be alright

The holidays are out, and school's back in.. again, tomorrow. I've not been doing anything productive for the past week and I am aware that the examinations are around the corner. It's just that my brain is rejecting everything that is related to studying, school work, formulas, whatsoever et cetera. I absolutely understand how important this year is, and I really do want to get into the class I want, and that if I don't get myself into the study-all-the-way-like-shit-till-I-get-stress-or-depression mode, I have to prepare to die.

I feel like shit. I feel like going to another country to study cos an A grade in Singapore is a B in our parents' eyes, whereas for example, in the states, it's like distinction. Bloody hell.

Tonight, I am probably gonna do something memorable (or not) to end my 13 years of youth (I make it sound like I'm turning 40 instead of 14 ha ha) as I enter the actual whole teenage drama phase thing. Yes, I will be turning 14 years old tomorrow. I'm only looking forward to releasing helium balloons into the sky and blowing out the candles (the making a wish part only). I desperately need this wish burning in me to come true!

Today was awesome even though we weren't in the top 4 (positive thinking - we were 5th perhaps ha ha). It was really fun just to go there and enjoy (like for example, laughing our heads off) the experience and everything. Really it was. To have learnt all those new words and meanings, etc did open our minds up and sort of understood more.. or should I say enlarged our personal dictionary.

PS I'VE GOT NEW DESKTOP (YAY.. as a early birthday present)! I really hope nothing will screw this up.. seriously, my fingers are glued/ stuck/ taped crossed. Please please please please please don't screw up anymore. Thank you to my uncle (fabian), I have no idea how I am able to thank you enough.

I can't believe the september holiday is near and that I feel I've got a time-bomb ticking away in me cos I'm gonna turn 14 really soon. THE BIG 14 (GOING ON 40). I mean seriously, I felt like july was still just yesterday. Tomorrow's this english quiz's gonna take place. I'm so scared and nervous, and scared, and nervous (well you get it don't you) that I think I'd peed in my pants (joking). Oh gosh bloop bloop bloop I'm so scared and nervous that I would really break down tomorrow if anything bad happens.. I'm even thinking of backing out at the last minute, but olivia's definitely gonna kill me for that. The teachers after that. Just.. fingers crossed I don't trip over anything onstage. I'm infamous for tripping and slipping considering I'm identified as a spokesperson for band aids (ha ha)
